their game.

I'm available to do private classes and group
classes.

I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old. My dad (Cedric) got me started
and I now realise the
great gift he gave me, when he taught me to play.
I have been playing competively since age 11 (mostly fixtures; occasional
tournaments). I currently play in the Brisbane Northside
Super-grade 1 competition.
I started my coaching journey 13 years ago and completed the ATPCA
coaching course a couple of years ago. I have worked part-time for 2 tennis
centres and then started to provide coaching services (as part of my own
business), utilising the courts at Stafford Parish.
I enjoy the challenge of working with people and coming up with lesson plans,
that will help improve people's tennis game.

January is an exciting time for Australian tennis players.
The Brisbane International ATP tennis tournament was run. Jiri Lechecka
(CZE) was the winner
of the men's event. [1] Aryna Sabalenka won the women's event. Congrats to them
both.
I didn't make it to the event this year, but I did enjoy watching
it at home.
We had a great opening year of AB ServAces coaching - at Stafford and supporting
'InTennis' at Narangba tennis centre.
We had 6 young kids; 2 young ladies (Amy and Liz); Team Kenz (Kenz, Sophie &
Georgia); and a solid group of adults in Tennis Workshop. Approximately 24
people enjoyed a class or some coaching!
2025 .. The Year Ahead
Classes and Court Bookings

This will allow me to put classes together, schedule them and importantly book
courts ASAP (with the school admin lady)!
Start Date
Kid's classes will start the week of Monday 27 January (Aust Day
public holiday)
or Monday 3 Feb (the week afterwards).
Adult classes - TBA.

This is a new class that I'm starting up. Aimed at newer tennis players, looking
to build the basic shots and skills to play a game of tennis. Fun and friendly
class.

Tennis Workshop - Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00
pm.
This is a new class that I'm starting up. Aimed at keen tennis players, who
already have some basic skills, but looking to improve.
This is a structured year-long program, broken up into 7x 6 week blocks, that
focuses on different technical, tactical and mindset skills required to win in
tennis!

TW - (Adv) 'Training and Improvement'
- Mondays 7:30 - 9:00 pm.
This is the 2024 Tennis Workshop class, being transitioned into a practice,
training and improvement class, that we can build on what we worked on last
year.
It is aimed at experienced players, who need to hit plenty of balls, improve a
bit of technique and develop tactics for match-play.
Business Operating Changes
Availability
When running a business, there's always an opportunity to improve how we do things. Last year I was coaching every afternoon (often for 1.5 hrs). *** So this term, I'm looking atcoaching 3 arvo's a week (Mon, Weds & Thursdays). And aim to be at the courts for 3-4 hours.
Invoicing, Payments and Admin -
To reduce multiple invoices and make it easier to track payments for both me
and you :
Kids classes encouraged to be paid up-front for the term.
(Eg. 10x weeks at
$18 = $180);
So, no additional cost per term if paid up-front. Less admin for all of
us.
The alternative is to pay classed weekly. The cost will be $20/wk, which is
an additional $2 / class.
I understand cost-of-living pressures, so I'm happy to split payments or
defer.
This includes 2x make-up lessons, if kids can't make the class.
Happy to chat if any issues - we'll find a solution. :)
Adult Classes - I'll encourage similar idea of paying up-front. It will help
all of us and have a $2 weekly discount, if term / blocks paid up-front.

Pricing List
I've updated the pricing table on the web-site abservaces.com .
Probably the main small rise is that private lessons will be a
flat-rate of $65 / hour , $35 / 30 min and $70 for a
group private.
