I'm Andy Burnett. My dad Cedric introduced me to tennis when I was 8 years old - it
was a terrific gift!
Now, I'm passionate about tennis and seeing people develop their game!

I make myself available to coach on :

I'm available to do private classes and group

The best thing to do is to contact me and let's see what time or
class would suit both of us.

I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old. My dad (Cedric) got me started
and I now realise the
great gift he gave me, when he taught me to play.
I have been playing competively since age 11 (mostly fixtures; occasional
tournaments). I currently play in the Brisbane Northside
Super-grade competition.
I started my coaching journey 15 years ago and completed the ATPCA
coaching course a couple of years ago. I have worked part-time for 2 tennis
centres and then started to provide coaching services (as part of my own
business), utilising the courts at Stafford Parish.
I enjoy the challenge of working with people and coming up with lesson plans,
that will help improve people's tennis game.

Term 4 - Look-out!!
Hi tennis amigos!
I'm excited for Term 4!
And we won't let a bit of rain, rain on our parade!
Tennis Workshop - Train and Improve (for advanced players - 7:30 pm Mondays) is
back-from-the-dead!
People keep turning up!
Tennis LTP (Learn to Play) has a committed group of people learning the basics and
having a great time! In Tennis LTP we work on developing the basic tennis strokes -
forehand, backhand & serve - to get us playing!
Our Monday 'Intermediate class' is working with a group of people who have been with
me for a couple of years or already have some tennis. This term we are working on
some 'key competencies' to get people ready for 'Social
tennis.' Look-out!!
And the private sessions are kicking along well too. It's great to see people having
those moments where all-of-a-sudden they start to successfully do that skill.
